HR Certification Institute offers several different certification opportunities for HR professionals, but do recruiters really need this credential? This informative session will cover the following:

· What are the qualifications and requirements in obtaining certification?
· Is certification helpful in obtaining employment? Advancement?
· How does certification translate to real world experience?
The session will include an open floor discussion throughout the presentation to ensure all questions are answered.
Danyelle Williams Keenan, SPHR, CPP
Danyelle holds a Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) and earned a Master's of Science Degree from UT Arlington in Human Resource Management. In 2001, she achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) designation and later the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation. Danyelle is active in the local SHRM Chapter, Fort Worth Human Resource Management Association (FWHRMA), serving as Chapter President in 2012.
With a real passion for adult education, she is an experienced trainer and instructor, striving to not only educate, but to instill enthusiasm and energy into the subject matter she is teaching. As an adjunct instructor she has taught management and business courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level for several local universities. For the past eight years, she has served an instructor for the S/PHR certification class, having taught for FWHRMA, Mid-Cities HR Association, UT Arlington and Tarrant County College. In 2011, she was recognized by HR Southwest as the HR Educator of the Year.
With over 15 years of Human Resources experience in warehousing/distribution, commercial real estate, higher education and government, Danyelle is a Senior Associate with Treyburn HR Group. Ms. Keenan works with a variety of organizations specializing in employment consulting focused on employee relations, management training and compliance. They offer experienced HR knowledge for those who do not need full time in-house HR professionals or who need a little extra help from time to time.
