With the constant changes in our economy Recruiters need to be prepared to succeed even on a reduced budget and influence clients and hiring managers to keep costs low for new hires.  In this interactive session, we will share ways that we can prepare for changes in Recruiting budgets and creative ways to make an impact that don’t cost an arm and a leg!

Christie has held Director and Management level positions and is an avid facilitator and trainer in both the recruiting and human relations fields. She is currently at Fossil a global retailer with over 390 stores in the US, products in over 2,000 retail locations, and a global presence in 90 countries around the world.

Christie began her career in 1992 as a Recruiter for a Texas-based university and then transitioned into the corporate world, serving as a Management and University Recruiter for a national hotel chain. Christie entered technical recruiting and now has over 20 years’ experience in the industry for companies such as Southwest Airlines, Sprint and Fossil, as well as well-known contingency firms.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University and in addition to her involvement with DFWTRN, serves in organizations including the Junior League of Dallas and Community Partners of Dallas.
