DFWTRN in September is bringing back board member Jim Durbin for a fun audience participation game on how to use LinkedIn. And this time, we’re offering cash prizes!!!

Presentation Title: “All The Things We Get Wrong On LinkedIn: Cash Prizes”

1)   Does adding the number of connections you have on LinkedIn increase the size of the network you can see?

2)  When doing a group search, how do you prevent LinkedIn from showing you first degree  connections?

3)  Is it possible to download the connections of someone you’re connected with?

Jim, who is known as the Social Media Headhunter, has prepared a series of questions on using LinkedIn to recruit. With several years of screenshots to back him up, Jim will test our knowledge of what you can do, can’t do, and used to be able to do on LinkedIn.

Four contestants will be volunteer/picked, or if need be, sacrificed, and the audience will have the ability to fill out their own answers. Questions will be focused on finding and contacting job seekers. We’ll also focus our attention on Basic and Premium accounts, as not everyone has LinkedIn Recruiter.
