Joe Sommers, Managing Partner for See Clearly Consulting, assists organizations to increase their talent management effectiveness, performance management goals and strategy by incorporating Culture & Values. He provides effective pre-employment behavioral science-based assessment tools for candidate selection. SCC also provides leadership development to accomplish these initiatives through "Leading from the Inside Out" coaching programs.
Joe assist organizations in the use of behavioral science based programs for strategic employment and retention initiatives, leadership development and team building, and culture/competency modeling. Through these programs, client organizations greatly improved their business effectiveness through engaging, developing, and optimizing their human capital resources.
Joe has conducted numerous workshops in leadership development, employment assessment certification, behavioral interviewing, and performance management for corporate clients and professional associations. He has made presentations for the Employment Management Association (EMA) national conferences, the SHRM Staffing Management annual conference and the South Texas HR Symposium, as well as local SHRM chapter programs, the Fire-Rescue International annual conference, and various nonprofit agencies and career support groups.
Joe is currently a Senior Advisor for the Dallas/Ft. Worth SMA Chapter, and previously served on the national board of directors for EMA as vice president of Professional Development. He recently served on SHRM’s HR Consulting & Outsourcing Expertise Panel and currently serves on the SHRM Staffing and Workforce Planning Standards Taskforce. His interest in education and training is fostered by his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from the University of Arkansas.
